Choosing a gift

Hand-tied bouquet, vase arrangement or flower box?

The difference between the three is practical rather than decorative: where the flowers land, and whether the recipient has a vase and a spare minute.

Three arrangement styles side by side: a hand-tied bouquet, a vase arrangement and a flower box

Short answer: send a hand-tied bouquet to a home where there is a vase, a vase arrangement to an office, a clinic or anyone who is busy, and a flower box when you want a surprise that can be handed over at a door and needs no setting up at all.

The hand-tied bouquet

The classic: stems arranged by hand and wrapped in paper or lace, made to be carried and presented. It gives the handover moment its full effect and leaves the recipient free to arrange it their own way.

Choose it when the delivery goes to a home, when you want the traditional gifting picture, or when you know there is a vase waiting.

Bear in mind that someone needs to trim the stems and get them into water fairly soon after they arrive. If the recipient is out all day, the next option is kinder.

Start with rose bouquets, the most requested version of this style.

The vase arrangement

The flowers arrive designed inside their vase, already standing in water. Nothing to cut, nothing to arrange, no hunting for a container.

Choose it when the delivery goes to an office, a clinic or a hospital room, when you don't know whether there is a vase, or when you want the least possible upkeep.

Bear in mind that it is heavier and takes more space, and the shape stays as the florist designed it.

The flower box

Blooms packed tightly into a presentation box over water-soaked foam. It arrives ready to display and holds its shape for days without being touched.

Choose it when you want a surprise handed over at a door or set on a desk, or when the recipient is travelling or staying somewhere that isn't home.

Bear in mind that the foam needs a little water every couple of days to keep the blooms fresh.

Three questions that settle it

  1. Where will the flowers land? Home → hand-tied. Office or hospital → vase. Doorstep or reception → box.
  2. Will the recipient be there? If you can't be sure, a vase arrangement or a box waits far better than loose stems.
  3. How much care can you expect? A hand-tied bouquet asks for a step or two on arrival; the other two ask for almost nothing.

What stays the same whichever you pick

  • Every arrangement is made to order in Amman on the day it is delivered.
  • A handwritten gift card is free with every order, and no invoice travels with the gift.
  • If a flower runs out on the day, we substitute one of equal value and keep the design's character.

Check areas and timings on the delivery page before you pick an arrival slot.

Quick answers

Which lasts longest?

The vase arrangement, because it stands in its own water from the moment it is made and never spends time out of it.

Does a hand-tied bouquet include a vase?

No, unless the product description says so. Only vase arrangements arrive with their vase.

Which is best for an office delivery?

A vase arrangement or a flower box — neither asks the recipient to find a container or set anything up.
